Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out whether leadership has a positive and significant effect on the morale of members in the Muhammadiyah Student Association organization, Banggai Regency. This research was conducted at the Secretariat of the Branch Leadership of the Banggai Regency Muhammadiyah Student Association, which is located on Jalan KH. Wahid Hasyim. The research population is made up of IMM members or cadres, totaling 100 people. The types of data used in this study are qualitative and quantitative. From the results of the study, it can be seen that leadership has a positive and significant effect on member morale at the Muhammadiyah Student Association in Banggai Regency. The connection with the problem of leadership is that there is still a lack of leaders providing good direction to each member or subordinate in all matters. Meanwhile, the moral issue is a lack of commitment and responsibility on the part of IMM members in carrying out their obligations and responsibilities in relation to the tasks or mandates assigned. In this study, the leadership variable has a positive and significant effect on the morale of members.
