Peer Reviewers
The ASEAN Social Development Journal (ASDAL) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and scholarly excellence through a rigorous peer review system. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are subject to an independent and impartial evaluation by experts in the relevant field.
ASDAL adopts a double-blind peer review model to ensure objectivity and fairness in the assessment process. The identities of authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process to minimize bias and uphold academic neutrality.
The journal selects reviewers based on their subject-matter expertise, research experience, and publication record. Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, evidence-based, and timely evaluations that contribute to improving the scholarly quality of submitted manuscripts.
The peer review process focuses on:
-
Originality and contribution to knowledge
-
Methodological rigor and analytical soundness
-
Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope
-
Clarity, coherence, and academic writing quality
-
Ethical research standards
Editorial decisions are made independently by the Editor-in-Chief, based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the overall academic merit of the manuscript.
ASDAL strictly upholds ethical publishing practices and does not tolerate plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or other forms of academic misconduct. The journal is dedicated to fostering transparent, responsible, and high-quality scholarly communication within the field of social development and related disciplines.
